Their careers, spanning across mergers and acquisitions, private equity investing, and real estate, have only reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing a business acquisition. With their unique blend of skills and experience, the Lacs brothers are ideally positioned to operate the business with the same care and respect as a family business, while also leveraging their corporate and private equity expertise to drive growth and success.
Jon is the co-founder of Watsons Bay Capital and a passionate entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in private equity and investment banking. He is also a devoted husband, coffee afficionado, a tennis fanatic, and a die-hard Miami Heat and Florida Gators fan.
Before starting Watsons Bay Capital, Jon worked in private equity at GCM Grosvenor and M&A investment banking at Morgan Stanley. He received his Bachelor’s in Finance and Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida.
Jon is a passionate entrepreneur with a relentless drive to build and grow successful businesses. He is confident that his dedication, scrappiness, and skills from his prior experience give him the tools necessary to succeed in this endeavor.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and winning his fantasy football league.

Before starting Watsons Bay Capital, Jacob worked in private equity at ICV Partners and Ardian, and in M&A investment banking at SunTrust Robinson Humphreys. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School, focusing on small business management and operations. Jacob received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Jacob is a hungry, motivated, and resourceful entrepreneur with a relentless drive to help businesses grow and succeed. When he’s not working, Jacob enjoys traveling to new countries and exploring different cultures. He’s also a big fan of fantasy books and rewatching Curb Your Enthusiasm for the umpteenth time.
